Shirron, Incorporated was started in the fall of 1982. The business was formed with the main premise of supporting domestic manufacturers with parts and products that they were having difficulties sourcing domestically. To convince customers that we could actually make quality products overseas required us to build a team, which included Taiwanese engineers that had backgrounds in mechanical as well as quality control procedures. Because we were not buying "off the shelf" type items meant that our overseas offices had to understand the methods in which our U.S. customers were used to doing projects. This was then adapted to the Chinese ways of doing business. Because of the quality of people we were able to hire, we quickly gained a reputation for being able to take a project from prints to production within a reasonable timeframe with quality results.
The process of building parts is still handled the same way as we started in the early 80's. Our engineers review new projects and make suggestions that will help aid the progress of the project. Our quality engineers still work with the manufacturers to determine what procedures are needed to assure quality parts. Then a final inspection that is documented and compared to the specifications required for the project. This group of manufacturers that we have assembled over the years is a very important part of our success. The mutual trust and respect that we have built over the years can not be easily duplicated. The manufacturer's understanding of the quality and timeliness that we need is invaluable.
Our expertise in building products has covered the gambit over the years. We have done major projects in all types of metal and casting, injection and other types of plastics molding, tool building and even large sewing projects. Our customer base has also covered the spectrum from Fortune 500 companies to the small entrepreneur just starting their first project.
In the last few years we have started working on beer dispensing products because of our personal interest in the market. We feel confident that we can supply products to this market that are of a higher and more consistent quality than what the market is currently experiencing.
